Wave Generator:
The Wave Generator is a thin raced ball bearing fitted onto an elliptical hub serving as a high efficiency torque converter and generally mounted onto the input shaft.

Cup-Type Flex Gear:
The Cup-Type Flex Gear is a non-rigid, thin cylindrical cup with external teeth. The bottom of Cup-Type Flex Gear (bottom of cylindrical cup) is called diaphram and generally mounted onto the output shaft.

Internal Gear:
The Internal Gear is a rigid ring with internal teeth, engaging the teeth of the Cup-Type Flex Gear across the major axis of the Wave Generator. The Internal Gear has two more teeth than the Cup-Type Flex Gear and is generally mounted onto housing.
